With reference to your letter dt. complaining of railway catering service at Ambala Cantt station, an enquiry has been ordered into the matter and those who are found guilty of negligence will have to answer the authorities.
Although we have a tradition of high-quality catering at minimal cost, lapses do occur from time to time since we have less control over the quality of provisions supplied to us by contractors.
I assure you of every effort on my part to revamp catering services.
