A Confidential Letter about Son’s Progress

Dt.
Dear Mr. Taiwar,
I hope you are no more anxious about your child’s progress. You may now rest assured that he has extricated himself from the bad company he was keeping. I usually send my maid, Maria to stalk him when he goes out in the evenings. Except for a little addiction t6 drinks, he has given up female companions and porn books. The cheek was brought about during a discussion. I had been with him on the problems that arise from the vices of youth.
I think he is not inclined to be a hard worker. Your wealth has made him lethargic to work. It will take some time before the effect of pampering goes.
Please do not write to him except once a month. I want him to feel independent and learn to stand on his own legs.
I’ll keep you informed about your son’s progress.
Yours truly,
Anand Malhotra
