Madam,
Though feminist organisations and world governments are voicing a concern for women’s rights and conditions, media still depict women as a sex model or symbol of eroticism. Advertisements. on T.V. and print journals invariably show women scantily dressed in contexts where products have to be sold. In cinema one of the established role models is the woman the vamp, the man-hunter, and the bone of contention. There are more ‘Lily the Disco Dancer’. Sati-Savitri.
Can’t our government clamp censorships on such immoral depiction and reverse the traditional views held of women?
