Dear Amrita,
Your letter shows how foolish I have been and I am really ashamed to have given you moments of pain and self-searching. The coldness you notice was, however, not the result of anything you said or did. I have recently gone through a nightmare at home and that had been weighing upon my mind. My dear sister, Uma lost her newborn baby leaving her traumatic and sad. I have however consoled her and she is back to normal.
I am sure you will find me my old self when you see me by the peepul tree.
