On getting a job

We are all gratified and grateful to God on your success in getting a job, entirely with your own efforts, when the Employment Exchange had thrown cold water on your high hopes. Incidentally, you have learned the great lesson of pushing to the front without being fed by Uncle Scrooge’s favours.
Although your present post is a small one, we have no doubt that with your creativeness and courage of conviction you will go far in success and be the staff of life to your mother and sisters.
